Review: Greedfall

Blue and Christian review GreedFall, out now on PS4, XBox One, and PC.

In an alternate 17th century European setting, a plague ravages the people of the continent. Players must travel to a magical island to navigate politics, monsters, and the supernatural in hopes of finding a cure.

The Tip and the Top:

• Fascinating world building
• Excellent soundtrack
• Narrative has some interesting elements

The Flip and the Flop:

• Facial animation and lip syncing are sub-par
• Typos and grammatical errors in the subtitles are a chronic problem
• Building interiors and NPC faces are reused too frequently
• Unbalanced combat
• Too expensive at $50

Final Grade: D
